Rebuilding trust, navigating change, and leading with confidence, one conversation at a time.
I’ve always been a bit persistent—ok, let’s call it tenacious—when it comes to doing the “right” thing and helping others. As a corporate lawyer, I spent years climbing the career ladder, eventually making it to the top as in-house general counsel and company secretary. I worked hard for it, agonised over it, and definitely didn’t expect to be standing here today as an entrepreneur.
I had my doubts. Could I really walk away from everything I’d worked for? And what would I even do if I did? Could I find something that matched my love of justice and passion for innovation while also making a real difference in the world? Spoiler alert: yes, I could.
In my lawyer days, I worked closely with boards of directors and big-shot decision-makers, and let me tell you, it wasn’t always pretty. Communication breakdowns were a given, executives were terrible at being transparent (shocking, right?), and crisis management? Well, let’s just say it often felt like a little too much “winging it.” Over time, I realised these problems came from the ever-changing business landscape—and that’s when the lightbulb went off. I knew I could help organisations navigate these stormy seas, particularly by rebuilding the relationships that had gone off track.
That’s how The WayFinders Group came into existence—a consultancy I started to help leaders and organisations find their way through the unknown. We offer advisory, facilitative, and educational services that empower leaders to rebuild relationships, particularly where trust has eroded, and to fulfil their mission, even when things feel like a wild, uncharted adventure.
As an accredited mediator, my speciality is restoring relationships—particularly in those dreaded Board meetings where trust is a distant memory, and the risk of fallout is high. I help leaders have those tough conversations without triggering a meltdown or walking away with a pile of burnt bridges. Crisis averted.
Let’s be clear, though—WayFinders is impact driven, and it’s not all about profit. I’m here to help others carve out their path so they can make a real difference.
And as much as I joke about juggling three businesses, I’ve met some pretty incredible people along the way—like Emma Thompson, Kerry Washington, and even Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson. Running a business (or three) is definitely a circus act, but hey, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
So, if you’re ready to take the leap, rebuild some relationships, navigate the unknown, and maybe have a laugh along the way, I’m here to guide you through it all. Let’s find your way forward, together—and maybe laugh a little while we’re doing it.
